Investing in the leaders of Tomorrow

At the AMA Community Foundation, our vision is clear: we inspire Albertans through initiatives that help create and nourish a future where our youth can thrive in safe, healthy and sustainable communities.

How we help

Protecting the things that matter most is our commitment to Albertans. That’s why we reimagined the AMA Foundation for Traffic Safety in 2023—which for two decades has funded critical traffic safety research—as the AMA Community Foundation. We knew there was more we could do, beyond the road, to look after future generations of Albertans. The Foundation has been expanded to include work in four priority areas: food security, climate good, childhood safety and safe communities. Within each of these priority areas are the projects we’re supporting. You told us these issues were important to you, and we listened.

Our donor community has the power to create meaningful, sustainable change in the places where we each live and work. The AMA Community Foundation is a way to support issues close to all our hearts and that make Alberta stronger now and in the future.

Our Mission

We champion and support programs that help the leaders of tomorrow feel empowered and confident. With a focus on food security, climate good, safe communities, and childhood well-being, we’re passionate about making Alberta youth more self-sufficient, capable and resilient.
