Adopt a Bee Fundraiser 

In support of the AMA Community Foundation, you can adopt some of our million bees for just $1 each. You’ll get to name your bee, receive an adoption certificate, and feel good knowing all proceeds support the community. If every member were to adopt just one bee, that’s a million dollars that can help fight food insecurity, nurture the environment, create safer communities, and support childhood well-being. 

This year, your donation will support the Ma Matow Sakow Healing Forest through the AMA Community Foundation. You can learn more about this meaningful project by clicking here.

AMA’s beehives are just one piece of our pollinator program which includes investment in natural biodiverse forests, native plant landscaping and protection of native bees. 

By the end of 2024, members and donors had adopted an incredible 28,865 of our bees. And for many people, this contribution was more than a simple donation.  

“My grandkids had fun naming the bees. I gave the donation certificate to my daughter along with a bee themed puzzle from stump craft. It made for a nice gift.” – Denise C.   

“I made my gift in honour of my mother, Susan, who passed last year. She also loved bees. And monarchs, she let her garden in NH be overtaken by milkweed to help monarchs. It was always so glorious to see.” – Sid C.
